The International Women's Coffee Alliance
 invites you to participate and expose your brand, products and services during the III International Women in Coffee Convention, which will take place in Guatemala City next February 7 – 9, 2013.   Also available before the convention will be the Educational Coffee Pre-Tours from February 4 – 6, a great opportunity to know more about coffee production at origin (requires previous registration, limited space available), which will take place in different coffee regions of Guatemala.

Majestic landscapes, a variety of microclimates and the exceptional coffees of Guatemala are a few of the highlights of the International Women in Coffee Convention of 2013.

The goals of the Convention are:

  • Encourage Trade and Business opportunities for all.
  • Provide Women and Men a greater visibility into the coffee industry.
  • Promote social and environmental Sustainable Projects related to coffee.

The main theme for the Convention is Coffee and Trade.  The coffee industry is constantly facing new challenges and the convention offers a great opportunity to analyze new goals and strengthen the industry on a global level.  By promoting greater sustainability in an atmosphere based on a free market economy we can all improve women’s participation.

Coffee is of vital importance in the livelihood of millions of people, particularly in developing countries.  The 2013 convention provides educational tools for innovation, production, commercialization and business opportunities as well as for promoting social and environmental projects related to coffee.

Conference & TopicsWhere will the conference be held?

In the ANACAFE building located in zone 14, Guatemala City. A place where most coffee activities take place in Guatemala. It has the capacity for events with sufficient area for exhibits, labs, conference rooms and additional meeting space.
